Sumit Chander

Sumit’s practice at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court has been built around dispute resolution and civil and commercial litigation. Over the years, he has developed a reputation for handling matters that are procedurally complex, commercially sensitive and strategically demanding.

His work spans across constitutional writ petitions, contractual disputes, corporate and commercial disputes, property litigation, recovery actions, matrimonial and family disputes. He is an accredited Mediator with the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Samadhan, and has completed advanced training in mediation at Pepperdine University, California. Mr. Chander has also been appointed as an Arbitrator in commercial matters by the Delhi High Court several times. This adjudicatory role gives him a dual vantage point.
